We are back to dancing Woo Hoo

Great first day back. We had a mini social and everyone coped very well in the heat. Learnt a new dance from the recent Jackie and Doug Miranda workshop (Just a Dream). Over the next few weeks we will learn some more. Great crowd turned up and it was great to get together with everyone.

Looking forward to starting all my classes.

See you on the dance floor.

Happy New Year

We are half way through January and I have just got home from my holiday in Melbourne.
We went for nearly three weeks (Ray & I). Met mum and Kim at Kim's home when they got off the cruise. We spent New year with them and then mum went home.
I have some hilarious photos of new year (they are on my other computer) might share them with you later.
You would have loved new year. Right up your guys alley. Rock and roll through the ages. Plenty of dancing. Ray danced all night. Can't believe it. It was fun to watch. He asked lots.
We saw a huge amount of Melbourne, by car, by foot, by bike train and bus. We only used the bus and train once but had to try it. We walked probably 20km a day in the first week. Then biked many kms in the 35 degree heat. Loved it. Also swam in the sea by Kim (which was only a 5 minute walk) Beautiful clear warm water and soft white sand. Miss that.
Kim took us marathon shopping. Miss that. Also marathon eating at the Crown Casino. Couldn't eat for two days. Seafood yumm. Dessert yuuummmm.

Emilys Challenge

Emily won. Yes she won her challenge. She is the winner or the biggest loser. Emily won by so much. She did really well.
The prize was a weekend for two to Chataeu Tongariro all expenses paid and a years membership at the Pettigrew Arena Gym for 2. She has given away one of the memberships to a guy in the competition who couldn't afford to go to the gym. He was so greatful.
Emily has continued on with her own challenge and is continuing to lose weight. It is a great effort that she is putting in. Ray and I and the extended family are very proud of her. She is looking beautiful.
