Experience is the best tip for line dancing. The more you dance the better you get. I have people who come more than once a week and they definitely pick up the dances more easily than most people who come only once a week. Another way to remember the dances is to get the step sheet for the dances that you have learnt at class and practise at home. The hardest thing about line dancing is not the physical side of it but remembering the dance sequence. You can go on line and search the dance sheets.
Also I have had a query about where to find Bay Coasters line dancing on a Friday. We are at the Hibernian Club Hastings. Use the back entrance as club is not open for business when we start dancing. This class on a Friday 10am and is the best class to start in. The level is from learner to beginner level so it is easier to learn some of the different dance steps (these can be found on line as well). I will be starting a new learner class in September if there is enough interest. Let me know if you are keen.
Looking forward to Social on 1 September at Friendship Centre, Taradale 1.30pm-5pm with afternoon tea.

Thank you Felicity for the line dancing tips and the information regarding your beginners class. I am definitely going to come on a Friday, as I have heard through some friends that you are a positive and cheerful instructor.
I would also be interested in the new learners class starting in September if there is enough interest.
Are beginners welcome at the social on 1 September?
